The Avon Falcons baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Simsbury Trojans to 7 in the Falcons non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Falcons (10-5) will now prepare for their match against Conard (West Hartford, CT). The Red Wolves go into the non-league match with a 7-8 record. In their last match, Conard was overwhelmed by Southington (Southington, CT), 5-1, in a league match.
The Trojans (6-9) will now prepare for their match against Southington (Southington, CT). The Blue Knights go into the Central Connecticut - West match with a 12-4 record. In their last match, Southington tipped RHAM (Hebron, CT), 9-3, in a non-league match.
