Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 15-1 in a league test.

With the win, Buckhannon-Upshur upgrades its record to 15-12 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV) to battle the Indians in a Big Ten test on Thursday, May 11. The Indians come into the test with a record of 16-13. Bridgeport lost 7-6 in their recent non-league test against University (Morgantown, WV)

With the defeat, Preston falls to 7-14 on the season.
