Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH), 6-5 in a league test.

With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Vikings travel to Hudson (Hudson, OH) to play the Explorers in a non-league battle on Friday, May 12. The Explorers enter the battle with a record of 12-7.

The Blue Streaks now possess a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Twinsburg for a non-league battle on Friday, May 12. Lake will play a Tigers squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Nordonia (Macedonia, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 6-14.
