Ohio High School Baseball - Old Fort sneaks past Hopewell-Loudon

Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Old Fort Stockaders (Old Fort, OH) and the visiting Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH), saw Old Fort's baseball squad edge Hopewell-Loudon by a margin of 6-5.

Coming up next, the Stockaders play the St. Mary Central Catholic Panthers (Sandusky, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - River battle, on Thursday, May 11. Old Fort will attempt to better on its 12-8 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 9-13 record after their 14-4 league win over Danbury (Lakeside, OH).

The Chieftains now sport a 8-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty-Benton for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 11. Hopewell-Loudon will play a Eagles squad coming off a 14-1 league win over Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 18-5.
