The University/Classical Magnet Hawks baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Weaver Beavers to 1 in the Hawks league victory on Wednesday.
The Hawks (10-4) will now prepare for their match against East Windsor (East Windsor, CT). The Panthers go into the Capital Region Athletic match with a 8-6 record. In their last match, East Windsor gained a win over Weaver (Hartford, CT), 21-1, in a league match.
The Beavers (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, CT). The Warhawks go into the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Bloomfield gained a win over CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering] (Enfield, CT), 13-4, in a league match.
