Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 5-0 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now possess a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashley for a Mideastern 3A/4A challenge on Thursday, May 11. West Brunswick will confront a Screaming Eagle team coming off a 9-0 league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Screaming Eagle record now stands at 19-1.
