The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) and the host Glastonbury Guardians (Glastonbury, CT), saw Staples's lacrosse team top Glastonbury by a margin of 16-5.

The Wreckers (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT). The Tigers enter the Fairfield County challenge with a 9-5 record.

The Guardians (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Southington (Southington, CT). The Blue Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Southington was overwhelmed by Simsbury (Simsbury, CT), 16-8, in a non-league challenge.
