Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI), 13-2 in a league test.

The Bulldogs now have a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they host Burrillville for a Division 3 test on Friday, May 12. Westerly will face a Broncos squad coming off a 9-8 league win over Providence Country Day (East Providence, RI). The Broncos record now stands at 4-6.

In their next game, the Chieftains face the Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI) in a Division 3 test, on Thursday, May 11. Ponaganset will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Mariners come into the test with a 5-6 record after their 11-4 league loss to Smithfield (Esmond, RI).
