The Sullivan County Griffins softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Benton Tigers to 0 in the Griffins league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Sullivan County improves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Griffins host Northwest Area (Shickshinny, PA) to clash with the Rangers in a Mid-Penn D4 game on Thursday, May 11. The Rangers come into the game with a record of 7-4. Northwest Area won 10-9 in their recent non-league game against Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights (Williamsport, PA) in a Mid-Penn D4 game, on Tuesday, May 16. Benton will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Golden Knights come into the game with a 8-7 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Muncy (Muncy, PA).
