The Cabrillo Conquistadores (Lompoc, CA) softball routed the host Santa Maria Saints (Santa Maria, CA), 23-6 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Conquistadores (13-5) will now prepare for their bout against Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA). The Pirates go into the CCAA - Ocean bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Morro Bay was routed by San Luis Obispo (San Luis Obispo, CA), 7-0, in a league bout.
The Saints now possess a 3-15 record. They play next when they host Orcutt Academy for a CCAA - Ocean bout on Friday, May 12. Santa Maria will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Nipomo (Nipomo, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 8-11.
