Hopkinton Hawks (Contoocook, NH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Conant Orioles (Jaffrey, NH), 10-5 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Raymond for a Division III challenge on Friday, May 12.

With the loss, Conant falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Orioles travel to Stevens (Claremont, NH) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 12. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
