The Glastonbury Guardians softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Conard Red Wolves to 0 in the Guardians league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Glastonbury moves its record to 11-6 on the year. The Guardians travel to Avon (Avon, CT) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league game on Friday, May 12. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 0-12. Avon lost 24-1 in their recent non-league game against Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT)
In their next game, the Red Wolves clash with the Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) in a Central Connecticut - West game, on Friday, May 12. Conard will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Blue Knights come into the game with a 14-0 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Waterford (Waterford, CT).
