The Mattanawcook Lynx softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Dexter Tigers to 2 in the Lynx league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Mattanawcook moves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Lynx travel to Stearns (Millinocket, ME) to clash with the Minutemen in a non-league game on Friday, May 12. The Minutemen come into the game with a record of 2-4. Stearns won 17-7 in their recent non-league game against Piscataquis (Guilford, ME)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 12. Dexter will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Ponies come into the game with a 2-5 record after their 10-3 non-league win over Central (East Corinth, ME).
