Southern Aroostook Warriors (Dyer Brook, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hodgdon Hawks (Hodgdon, ME), 11-4 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Aroostook for a Class D North challenge on Friday, May 12. Southern Aroostook will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Hodgdon falls to 6-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME) to battle the Cougars in a Class D North challenge on Monday, May 15. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 2-4.
