The McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR) softball routed the visiting Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR), 14-3 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Pioneers (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Burns (Burns, OR). The Hilanders go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record.

The Pirates now possess a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Umatilla for a 3A Special District 2 bout on Friday, May 12.
