San Diego Cavers (San Diego, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Morse Tigers (San Diego, CA), 6-2 in a league challenge.

The Cavers now own a 19-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Jolla for a City challenge on Friday, May 12. San Diego will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 7-0 league win over High Tech SD (San Diego, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 12-12.

With the loss, Morse falls to 10-13 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Point Loma (San Diego, CA) to battle the Pointers in a City challenge on Friday, May 12. The Pointers enter the challenge with a record of 13-12. Point Loma won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Bayfront Charter (Chula Vista, CA)
