New Jersey High School Softball - Schalick bounces Penns Grove

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Schalick Cougars (Pittsgrove, NJ) and the host Penns Grove Red Devils (Carneys Point, NJ), saw Schalick's softball squad achieve victory over Penns Grove by a count of 20-2.

The Cougars now sport a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pitman for a non-league match on Friday, May 12. Schalick will face a Panthers squad coming off a 16-3 non-league loss to Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 5-8.

With the defeat, Penns Grove drops to 0-6 on the year. The Red devils travel to Wildwood (Wildwood, NJ) to clash with the Warriors in a Tri-County - Classic test on Friday, May 12. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-3.
