California High School Softball - San Luis Obispo bounces Santa Ynez

The San Luis Obispo Tigers routed the visiting Santa Ynez Pirates softball squad by a final score of 18-8 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Tigers (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Pioneer Valley (Santa Maria, CA). The Panthers go into the CCAA - Ocean battle with a 15-9 record. In their last battle, Pioneer Valley topped Nipomo (Nipomo, CA), 2-1, in a league battle.

The Pirates now possess a 1-14 record. They play next when they host Nipomo for a CCAA - Ocean battle on Friday, May 12. Santa Ynez will meet a Titans squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA). The Titans record now stands at 11-6.
