Virginia High School Baseball - Glenvar loses to Alleghany

In Friday's league game, the visiting Alleghany Cougars baseball team scored a tight 8-2 victory over the Glenvar Highlanders.
The Cougars (13-4) will now prepare for their game against Floyd County (Floyd, VA). The Buffaloes go into the Three Rivers game with a 5-14 record. In their last game, Floyd County tipped Radford (Radford, VA), 3-2, in a league game.
The Highlanders (10-7) will now prepare for their game against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights go into the Three Rivers game with a 2-16 record. In their last game, James River was overwhelmed by Patrick County (Stuart, VA), 11-1, in a league game.
