In Friday's non-league game, the host Model Patriots baseball team scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Bluegrass United Bluehawks.
The Patriots (23-9) will now prepare for their game against Lee County (Beattyville, KY). The Bobcats go into the non-league game with a 4-14 record.
The Bluehawks (7-16) will now prepare for their game against Eminence (Eminence, KY). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 8-10 record. In their last game, Eminence was edged by Carroll County (Carrollton, KY), 8-4, in a league game.
