The Central Knights baseball team (Providence, RI), was overwhelmed 6-0 in Friday's league outing with the host Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI)
The Patriots now hold a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coventry for a Division 1 (State) outing on Monday, May 13. Portsmouth will confront a Oakers team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Oakers record now stands at 8-7.
Next, the Knights confront the Moses Brown Quakers (Providence, RI) in a Division 1 (State) outing, on Saturday, May 11. Central will attempt to advance on its 3-14 season record. The Quakers go into the outing with a 8-7 record after their 14-1 league loss to Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI).
