The East Haven Yellowjackets the host Cheshire Rams baseball team by a count of 7-3 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Wilbur Cross for a Southern Connecticut - Oronoque game on Monday, May 13. East Haven will clash with a Governors team coming off a 5-3 league win over Sheehan (Wallingford, CT). The Governors record now stands at 2-13.
The Rams (3-14) will now prepare for their game against Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT). The Trojans go into the Southern Connecticut - Housatonic game with a 9-8 record. In their last game, Lyman Hall tipped North Branford (North Branford, CT), 7-6, in a non-league game.
