Indiana High School Baseball - Martinsville loses to Decatur Central

The Martinsville Artesians baseball team (Martinsville, IN), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Friday's league outing with the host Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN)

The Hawks now hold a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin Community for a Mid-State outing on Tuesday, May 14. Decatur Central will confront a Grizzly Cubs team coming off a 8-5 league loss to Plainfield (Plainfield, IN). The Grizzly Cubs record now stands at 11-9.

Next, the Artesians confront the Monrovia Bulldogs (Monrovia, IN) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 13. Martinsville will attempt to advance on its 2-19 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 11-11 record after their 10-8 non-league win over Bethesda Christian (Brownsburg, IN).
