The Marquette Crusaders baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Dwight Trojans to 2 in the Crusaders league victory on Friday.
The Crusaders now hold a 23-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Somonauk for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 11. Marquette will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-14.
Next, the Trojans confront the Manteno Panthers (Manteno, IL) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 13. Dwight will attempt to advance on its 22-10 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 18-6 record after their 5-2 league loss to Wilmington (Wilmington, IL).
