The Sauquoit Valley Indians crushed the host Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights baseball team by a count of 9-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Indians now possess a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Herkimer for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 11. Sauquoit Valley will face a Magicians team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Adirondack (Boonville, NY). The Magicians record now stands at 6-8.

Next, the Maroon Knights face the Westmoreland Bulldogs (Westmoreland, NY) in a Section 3 Center State II bout, on Monday, May 13. Frankfort-Schuyler will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 6-12 record after their 7-6 league win over Oriskany (Oriskany, NY).
