The Hancock Bulldogs crushed the host Houghton Gremlins baseball team by a count of 8-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Wright for a non-league bout on Monday, May 13. Hancock will face a Red Devils team coming off a 5-3 league loss to L'Anse (L'Anse, MI). The Red Devils record now stands at 10-12.

Next, the Gremlins face the Negaunee Miners (Negaunee, MI) in a Freelance bout, on Saturday, May 11. Houghton will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Miners enter the bout with a 13-9 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Kingsford (Kingsford, MI).
