The Howell Highlanders crushed the visiting Salem Rocks baseball team by a count of 12-3 in Friday's league bout.

The Highlanders now possess a 8-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Lyon East for a non-league bout on Friday, May 10. Howell will face a Cougars team coming off a 7-6 league win over Mott (Waterford, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 5-15.

Next, the Rocks face the Midland Chemics (Midland, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 11. Salem will attempt to move on its 4-18 season record. The Chemics enter the bout with a 9-5 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Lapeer (Lapeer, MI).
