The South Lyon Lions baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Kettering Captains to 8 in the Lions league victory on Friday.
The Lions (22-4) will now prepare for their match against Dakota (Macomb, MI). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 16-6 record. In their last match, Dakota edged Romeo (Romeo, MI), 2-1, in a league match.
The Captains (9-10) will now prepare for their match against Holly (Holly, MI). The Bronchos go into the non-league match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Holly edged Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek, MI), 5-4, in a league match.
