Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME), 17-11 in a non-league test.

With the win, Penobscot Valley upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Howlers travel to Greenville (Greenville, ME) to battle the Lakers in a non-league test on Monday, May 13. The Lakers come into the test with a record of 5-2. Greenville won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Dexter (Dexter, ME)

With the defeat, Penquis Valley falls to 0-9 on the season. The Patriots travel to Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME) to battle the Huskies in a Class C North test on Monday, May 20. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 2-7.
