Proctor Academy Hornets (Andover, NH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Vermont Academy Wildcats (Saxtons River, VT), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Proctor Academy upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Hornets travel to Brewster Academy National (Wolfeboro, NH) to battle the Bobcats in a Lakes Region test on Saturday, May 11. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 1-10. Brewster Academy National won 14-7 in their recent league test against Tilton School (Tilton, NH)

With the defeat, Vermont Academy falls to 9-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to New Hampton School (New Hampton, NH) to battle the Huskies in a Lakes Region test on Saturday, May 11. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 9-4. New Hampton School lost 4-2 in their recent league test against St. Paul's (Concord, NH)
