Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) and the host Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), saw Riverheads's baseball squad knock off Waynesboro by a count of 10-1.

Coming up next, the Gladiators play the Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) in a Shenandoah battle, on Monday, May 13. Riverheads will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Bison enter the battle with a 4-12 record after their 8-3 league loss to Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA).

The Little Giants now possess a 9-11 record.
