In Friday's league test, the visiting Albemarle Patriots lacrosse squad scored a good 15-7 victory over the Charlottesville Black Knights.
The Patriots now have a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freeman for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 14. Albemarle will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Cosby (Midlothian, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 10-1.
In their next game, the Black Knights face the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a Jefferson test, on Tuesday, May 14. Charlottesville will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 13-0 record after their 18-0 league win over Monticello (Charlottesville, VA).
