Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), 19-2 in a league test.

The Patriots now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glen Allen for a non-league test on Thursday, May 16. Albemarle will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-6.

In their next game, the Black Knights face the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a Jefferson test, on Tuesday, May 14. Charlottesville will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 10-3 record after their 14-2 league win over Monticello (Charlottesville, VA).
