The Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) softball routed the host Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY), 13-2 in Friday's league bout.
The Wildcats (21-7) will now prepare for their bout against West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Colts go into the non-league bout with a 23-6 record. In their last bout, West Jessamine was routed by Ballard (Louisville, KY), 8-0, in a non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Menifee County for a District 61 bout on Saturday, May 11. Fleming County will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to West Carter (Olive Hill, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-14.
