Union Grove Broncos (Union Grove, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Beloit Memorial Purple Knights (Beloit, WI), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Broncos now own a 15-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Milwaukee for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. Union Grove will battle a Rockets squad coming off a 15-8 league loss to Whitnall (Greenfield, WI). The Rockets record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Beloit Memorial falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Purple knights host Westosha Central (Salem, WI) to battle the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 16-2.
