The Bishop Ryan Lions (Minot, ND) softball routed the visiting Divide County Maroons (Crosby, ND), 22-5 in Friday's league bout.
The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] (Turtle Lake, ND). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] toppled Nedrose (Minot, ND), 18-16, in a league bout.
The Maroons now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bottineau for a Class B - Region 3 challenge on Monday, May 13.
