The Broadway Gobblers softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Harrisonburg Blue Streaks to 2 in the Gobblers league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Broadway moves its record to 13-4 on the year. The Gobblers travel to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to clash with the Flying Flucos in a non-league game on Monday, May 13. The Flying Flucos come into the game with a record of 7-10. Fluvanna County lost 12-2 in their recent league game against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)

In their next game, the Blue Streaks meet the East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 13. Harrisonburg will attempt to advance on its 10-9 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 5-11 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA).
