Harvey Hornets (Harvey, ND) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Carrington Cardinals (Carrington, ND), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Northern Cass for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. Harvey will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] (Belfield, ND). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Carrington falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Harvey (Harvey, ND) to face the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 3-7.
