Spectators at Friday's league match between the Saegertown Panthers (Saegertown, PA) and the visiting Cochranton Cardinals (Cochranton, PA), witnessed Saegertown's softball squad tip Cochranton by a count of 10-3.

The Panthers now sport a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Eisenhower for a District 10 Region 2 match on Tuesday, May 14. Saegertown will meet a Knights squad coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Jamestown (Jamestown, PA). The Knights record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Cochranton moves to 7-4 on the season. The Cardinals host Maplewood (Guys Mills, PA) to meet the Tigers in a District 10 Region 2 match on Tuesday, May 14. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 7-5. Maplewood won 8-7 in their recent league match against Rocky Grove (Franklin, PA)
