The Columbia Eagles the visiting East Alton-Wood River Oilers softball squad by a count of 2-0 in Friday's league battle.
The Eagles (19-10) will now prepare for their battle against Nashville (Nashville, IL). The Hornets go into the non-league battle with a 17-11 record. In their last battle, Nashville nudged Trico (Campbell Hill, IL), 12-5, in a non-league battle.
