The Crown Point Panthers softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Lake Placid Bombers to 1 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Crown Point moves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Willsboro Central (Willsboro, NY) to play the Warriors in a Section 7 Mountain Valley game on Monday, May 13. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 4-6. Willsboro Central lost 20-1 in their recent league game against Bolton Central (Bolton Landing, NY)

In their next game, the Bombers play the Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY) in a Section 7 Mountain Valley game, on Monday, May 13. Lake Placid will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record.
