In Friday's league outing, the host Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights softball team scored a close 2-1 win over the Sauquoit Valley Indians.
Coming up next, the Maroon Knights battle the Central Valley Academy Thunder (Ilion, NY) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 11. Frankfort-Schuyler will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Thunder enter the outing with a 9-4 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Little Falls (Little Falls, NY).
The Indians (2-8) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Markham (West Winfield, NY). The Mustangs enter the Section 3 Center State II outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Mt. Markham was tipped by Herkimer (Herkimer, NY), 11-5, in a non-league outing.
