The Gervais Cougars softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Mohawk Mustangs to 11 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Gervais improves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Regis (Stayton, OR) to clash with the Rams in a 2A/1A-SD3 Special District 3 game on Monday, May 13. The Rams come into the game with a record of 7-5. Regis won 29-19 in their recent league game against Culver (Culver, OR)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the East Linn Christian Academy Eagles (Lebanon, OR) in a 2A/1A-SD3 Special District 3 game, on Monday, May 13. Mohawk will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 2-11 record after their 17-3 league loss to Central Linn (Halsey, OR).
