The Port Byron Panthers softball team scored 23 runs and limited the host Hannibal Warriors to 6 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Port Byron improves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Panthers host Weedsport (Weedsport, NY) to clash with the Warriors in a Section 3 Patriot National game on Saturday, May 11. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 6-7. Weedsport lost 12-4 in their recent league game against Pulaski (Pulaski, NY)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Cato-Meridian Blue Devils (Cato, NY) in a Section 3 Patriot National game, on Monday, May 13. Hannibal will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 8-2 record after their 23-2 non-league win over Bishop Ludden (Syracuse, NY).
