The Windom Eagles (Windom, MN) softball nipped the visiting Jackson County Central Huskies (Jackson, MN), 4-3 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (13-3) will now prepare for their bout against Springfield (Springfield, MN). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 9-7 record. In their last bout, Springfield was edged by New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN), 8-5, in a league bout.
The Huskies now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial for a non-league bout on Monday, May 13.
