The crowd at Friday's league match between the Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) and the host Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN), saw Minnetonka's softball squad nip Wayzata by a count of 12-7.

The Skippers now sport a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Prior Lake for a non-league match on Saturday, May 11. Minnetonka will face a Lakers squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 9-8.

With the defeat, Wayzata drops to 7-10 on the year. The Trojans travel to Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN) to encounter the Royals in a Lake test on Monday, May 13. The Royals come into the test with a record of 4-11.
