With the triumph, Minot improves its record to 17-13 on the year. The Magicians travel to Fargo North (Fargo, ND) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league game on Friday, May 10. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 2-4. Fargo North lost 10-9 in their recent non-league game against Legacy (Bismarck, ND)

In their next game, the Roughriders clash with the Williston Coyotes (Williston, ND) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 10. Red River will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Coyotes come into the game with a 5-6 record after their 5-4 league win over Jamestown (Jamestown, ND).
