In Saturday's non-league bout, the Muhlenberg County Mustangs (Greenville, KY) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY), by a tally of 10-0.
Next up, the Mustangs encounter the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers (Harned, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 10. Muhlenberg County will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Fighting Tigers enter the bout with a 18-7 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Apollo (Owensboro, KY).
The Patriots (6-20) will now prepare for their bout against Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 14-13 record. In their last bout, Clinton County was overwhelmed by Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY), 12-9, in a non-league bout.
