New York High School Baseball - Starpoint loses to Amherst Central

The Starpoint Spartans baseball squad (Lockport, NY), was overwhelmed 8-0 in Saturday's league contest with the visiting Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY)

With the triumph, Amherst Central moves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Sweet Home (Amherst, NY) to confront the Panthers in a ECIC II contest on Thursday, May 15. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 6-6.

The Spartans now possess a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamburg for a ECIC II contest on Tuesday, May 13. Starpoint will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Orchard Park (Orchard Park, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-5.
