Ohio High School Baseball - Barnesville holds off Monroe Central

In Saturday's non-league game, the host Barnesville Shamrocks baseball team scored a close 6-2 win over the Monroe Central Seminoles.

The Shamrocks (10-9) will now prepare for their game against Shadyside (Shadyside, OH). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 11-8 record.

Next, the Seminoles play the Harrison Central Huskies (Cadiz, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 12. Monroe Central will attempt to improve on its 8-13 season record. The Huskies go into the game with a 14-7 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Chippewa (Doylestown, OH).
